There are quite a few places online to find information about travelling in Iceland, but very few of them will give you helpful information. Read on for some inside tips on visiting Iceland.

 

The Iceland Tourist Board has a website that offers most of the basic travel information about Iceland that travellers could want, but it isn’t updated frequently and should serve as merely a starting point. Regional and city-specific sites, like Visit Reykjavik, are usually updated more frequently, but sometimes the English translated versions contain only basic tourist information. Finally, independent travel sites about Iceland can be considered for more personal, specific information.
