About searching

The Já.is website searches for information in four areas that you can select using the tabs at the top of the page. The four search areas are:

When you enter a word in the search window and press the “Search” button, simultaneous searches begin in Quick Search, Yellow Pages, Find People and Map of Iceland, no matter which tab is open when you start the search.  A large number of results will be shown under each tab.  Move between the sets of results by pressing the tabs. You don’t need to clear the results when you start a new search.

Simplicity and high-quality results were uppermost in our minds when we designed these web pages.
