Finding people

Search for people by entering one of the following:

• Person’s name
• Phone number
• E-mail address
• Website URL
• Address

Search results when finding people

• Names are displayed in alphabetical order
  • In this order: forename, surname, middle name, job title, address.

Telephone numbers

1. If you need to find a person’s phone number, enter his or her name or address in the search window. You can make the search more precise by adding more information such as a street name, postcode or e-mail address.
2. If you have a phone number and want to find information about the subscriber, all you need to do is enter the number and click the search button or press Enter.

Example
Entering 522 3200 will find everyone registered for the number 522 3200.

Address
Don’t worry about which Icelandic case you should use – the search engine understands addresses written in any case, although the results will be displayed in Icelandic form (using the dative case).
