After Life

After a car accident, Anna (Christina Ricci) wakes up and realizes that Funeral director Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson) is preparing her body for burial. Anna is confused and terrified and feels very much alive but the funeral contractor assures her that she is only in the transition to life after this. Eliot says he has the ability to communicate with the dead and that he is the only one who can help her. Locked up in the morgue and with no one but Eliot to turn to, Anna is forced to confront her deepest fears and accept her own death. But Anna’s mourning boyfriend Paul (Justin Long) cannot get rid of the gnawing suspicion that Eliot is not who he seems to be. As the funeral is approaching, Paul is coming closer to the shocking truth. But it can be too late … Anna may have already made it to the other side.
