Dutch artist and designer Kiki van Eijk has designed this series of vases, by splicing together recognizable components in unusual combinations.
Inspired by a childlike sense of wonder and smallest details of the everyday, Kiki van Eijk has produced two vases and a clock of an imaginary world where ladders, clocks and cabinets are mixed and combined. Each object is an assembly of colours, forms and materials like solid wood, glass, ceramics and metal. Each creation becomes much more than just an object; it creates its own imaginary and personal world; very autonomous.
Maison Dada, Design Editor since 2015, was created in Shanghai by Thomas Dariel and Delphine Moreau. Maison Dada was born out of the wild dream to inject a dose of Dadaism into our everyday life. Maison Dada develops furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories with in mind the desire to create the unexpected from ordinary objects, the will to harmonize dreams and reality.
