Sófaborð

Sófaborð unnið úr náttúrusteininum Travertine og olíuborinni eik. Hvort sem borðið stendur eitt eða tvö saman, setur borðið sterkan svip á rýmið. Neðri hillan býður upp á hagnýtt rými fyrir bækur, körfur eða látlausa hluti.

Borðið er samstarfsverkefni VIGT og Granítsmiðjunnar. Það var fyrst sýnt á HönnunarMars árið 2023.

Borðið fæst í tveimur stærðum.

This coffee table brings together natural stone and wood in a calm, grounded composition. The soft veining of travertine contrasts gently with the oak structure, creating a tactile piece that feels both substantial and serene.

A lower shelf offers a practical space for books, baskets, or quiet storage.
Striking on its own or paired in twos, the table adds a sculptural presence to any living space.

Care & Maintenance

The table is crafted from natural materials, oiled oak and travertine stone, chosen for their warmth, texture, and timeless character. With simple care, the table will age beautifully and retain its natural appeal.

Daily Cleaning

Wipe the table with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Dry with a clean, dry cloth. If needed, use a mild, neutral soap.
Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring agents, as they can damage the stone’s surface.

Protecting the Surface

Travertine is a porous, natural stone. To help prevent scratches or stains:
– Use felt pads under rough or sharp objects.
– Coasters are recommended, especially for glasses containing citrus drinks or alcohol.
– Avoid placing hot or wet items directly on the surface.

Avoid Acids and Harsh Cleaners

Do not use acidic substances such as vinegar, lemon juice, or cleaners containing bleach or ammonia. These can dull or damage the stone.
