The Amphora kettle is named after the ancient Greek clay pots that was used to store oil and wine. The Danish designer, Sebastian Holmbäck, is inspired by the amphora's round body and distinctive shoulders that at the same time draw lines far into the future.

The electric kettle can hold 1.2 L., has a boil-dry protection, and is supplied with a replaceable limescale filter.

Maintenance:

  • Unplug before cleaning and let the jug cool down. Clean up the jug itself with a damp cloth or soft sponge. Clean regularly the filter for limescale. Never use a scouring pad as this will scratch the surface.

Designer:

  • Sebastian Holmbäck is trained industrial designer from Denmark's School of Design. Sebastian Holmbäck has received numerous awards. Sebastian has in collaboration with Ulrik Nordentoft (HolmbackNordentoft) designed the popular and award-winning series: Emma and Pure Black knife series for Stelton.
